About Wayward Souls™

Welcome to Wayward Souls™. As the first multi-layer massively multiplayer online game ever made, Wayward Souls brings the gaming community a completely new experience unlike any other game available to date. While it does share some features with other games on the market, there aren't any easy comparisons to be made.

Development Status

Because Wayward Souls™ is still early in its development cycle, we aren't at liberty to discuss many of the details with the public. As work progresses, more information will be made available here.

While designing Wayward Souls™, great care was taken to avoid the pitfalls so often associated with other massively multiplayer online (MMO) games. Regardless of your encouters with MMO games in the past, we feel that the Wayward Souls experience will be unlike any other game you've ever played.

How we're funding development

1: Preferred Memberships

Our preferred membership program empowers our customers with a unique opportunity to influence key factors in the design of the Wayward Souls™ game even before we've finished first release. Under traditional publisher/developer funding models, a large portion of the creative freedom is transferred to the publisher. With our alternate funding sources, we can instead pass some of that creative freedom on to our preferred members.

In short, we'd much rather have our customers telling us what they want than some stuffed-suit marketing manager who probably hasn't played a game in ages. Those interested in becoming preferred members can purchase memberships from their user profiles.

2: Partnership

Currently, the game designer, webmaster, and project manager are working on this project at their own expense. They will be paid for their work after the project is fully funded and we've got more people on staff.

3: Securities

Depending on the response to the Preferred Membership program, it may be necessary to raise additional funds through incorporation and the sale of stock under the Securities Act of 1933, Rule 505 (Regulation D). If you qualify as an Accredited Investor, please check this section later for additional information.
